Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ionel Moise made the kick off which started today's match. Costel Scaeru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Felix Crușeveanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Botescu got free with Felix Crușeveanu in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Nechifor Buzilă managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC UNIV. CRAIOVA's supporters rose to their feet, but Nechifor Buzilă was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felix Crușeveanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sebastian Botescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ionel Moise struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Matthew Pumarejo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ariciu. In the 13th minute, Cosmin Posteucă ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matthew Pumarejo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A collision led to Ariciu getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Octav Negara hit a great ball. If Costel Scaeru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 30 minutes of play, Ariciu's Ionel Moise made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matthew Pumarejo was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Ariciu's Felix Crușeveanu got control of the ball when Sebastian Botescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Horaţiu Zbughină kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 41st minute by Nechifor Buzilă got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sebastian Botescu made a kick off. Sebastian Botescu took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felix Crușeveanu. Felix Crușeveanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Sebastian Botescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felix Crușeveanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. After having played for 59 minutes, Nechifor Buzilă managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC UNIV. CRAIOVA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nechifor Buzilă was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Ariciu booed when FC UNIV. CRAIOVA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Vasilescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ariciu's Ionel Moise got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Sebastian Botescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Crușeveanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Botescu in the 76th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Horia Gagiu during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Horia Gagiu hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Sebastian Botescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 87 minutes into the match, Ariciu's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Botescu came free, but Felix Crușeveanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC UNIV. CRAIOVA's Sebastian Botescu got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olimpiu Agusoaei's late challenge caught a Ariciu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olimpiu Agusoaei helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd minute, Olimpiu Agusoaei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ariciu's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
