Călin Lucrețiu started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Brinceni's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Bratu came free, but Ciprian Maniu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciprian Maniu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Cândea in the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Cândea in the 9th minute of play forced Brinceni's goalkeeper Ciprian Maniu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. George Sucigan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Călin Lucrețiu went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Ciprian Maniu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Molodețiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Sandu Homeag had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferdinand Bădiliță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Cândea in the 23rd minute of play forced Brinceni's goalkeeper Ciprian Maniu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Brinceni's goal looked a bit too open when David Cândea came free, but Ciprian Maniu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Brinceni defense, David Cândea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ciprian Maniu. The Brinceni fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciprian Maniu should have stopped the shot. Călin Lucrețiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Sucigan having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Brinceni's Claudiu Ciungu got a free kick in the 39th minute. Adrian Bratu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciprian Maniu having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Iurie Chirnoagă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Adrian Bratu made the kick off in the second half. Sandu Homeag might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over George Sucigan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sandu Homeag ran back to his position shaking his head. Călin Lucrețiu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without George Sucigan having to make a save. 56 minutes into the match, Brinceni's Călin Lucrețiu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that George Sucigan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Călin Lucrețiu took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised George Sucigan. George Sucigan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, Ciprian Maniu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Sandu Homeag had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Sandu Homeag came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Brinceni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sandu Homeag couldn't finish the play. Ferdinand Bădiliță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. George Sucigan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Sandu Homeag had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of George Sucigan. Ticitaca sepsi osk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sandu Homeag was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Many of Ticitaca sepsi osk's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ticitaca sepsi osk may have spent more time on the ball, but Brinceni were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
