After a rather tough play, Pogara's Aristide Susara got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute, Gelu Ciocârlan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pompiliu Şantău was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 17th minute, Isac Romeo made a precise shot to the right of Nechifor Perșa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gelu Ciocârlan in the 27th minute of play forced Dinastera FC's goalkeeper Pompiliu Şantău to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Mădălin Coșeriu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Nechifor Perșa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toader Ciolofan, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Pompiliu Şantău made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. A collision led to Pogara getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Horia Şelaru hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isac Romeo in the 92nd minute of play forced Pogara's goalkeeper Nechifor Perșa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isac Romeo might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nechifor Perșa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isac Romeo ran back to his position shaking his head.
