After 4 played minutes Junior Star Bistrita got a freekick which was hit by Dinu Drăgoescu. 5 minutes in the game Felix Fânaru got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. The supporters of Satmarel FCM booed when Junior Star Bistrita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristinel Ruşdea didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 8 played minutes Junior Star Bistrita got a freekick which was hit by Cristinel Ruşdea. Vali Aluchei might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Linus Qvarnström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vali Aluchei ran back to his position shaking his head. Linus Qvarnström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vali Aluchei in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, Junior Star Bistrita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgil Dragalina to maneuver through the defense. Linus Qvarnström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivan Kováč in the 20th minute. Maxim Ştercă came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Linus Qvarnström could save by the left post. In the 22nd match minute, Junior Star Bistrita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristinel Ruşdea to maneuver through the defense. Iustin Vlaicu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristinel Ruşdea's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Maxim Ştercă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Linus Qvarnström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristinel Ruşdea hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 39thth minute of the game Maxim Ştercă who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Junior Star Bistrita's Linus Qvarnström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Junior Star Bistrita's Linus Qvarnström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vali Aluchei in the 40th minute of play. When Ivan Kováč fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Satmarel FCM's protests and gave Ivan Kováč a yellow card for diving instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maxim Ştercă stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match Satmarel FCM got a corner. Junior Star Bistrita's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Felix Fânaru ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Satmarel FCM's Vali Aluchei getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 56th minute, Vali Aluchei ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Linus Qvarnström was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iurie Gherdan during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Iurie Gherdan kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Linus Qvarnström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vali Aluchei's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. 73 minutes into the match, Satmarel FCM's Maxim Ştercă sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Linus Qvarnström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Linus Qvarnström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vali Aluchei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maxim Ştercă kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Junior Star Bistrita's goal looked a bit too open when Vali Aluchei came free, but Linus Qvarnström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Satmarel FCM's Iurie Gherdan got his second yellow card of the match in the 94th minute. The referee ordered Iurie Gherdan off the ground. After a rather tough play, Satmarel FCM's Iurie Gherdan got a free kick in the 94th minute. Satmarel FCM walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
