A collision led to Tipau getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Mugur Jurăscu hit a great ball. Lucian Tase took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ionică Plopan. Ionică Plopan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Dorel Vârnav kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ionică Plopan. That made the score 3-0 in the 25 minute of play. Lucian Mihai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marius Ferenț in the 29th minute of play. Mugur Jurăscu kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Haita RO were furious when Luca Romoşan was red carded, 33 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of Haita RO:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tipau:s goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dorel Vârnav in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ionică Plopan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tipau's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Dorel Vârnav 40 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Marius Ferenț managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tipau's supporters rose to their feet, but Marius Ferenț was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucian Mihai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dorel Vârnav was the one to do the kick off. Dorel Vârnav fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionică Plopan having to interfere. After recieving a nice pass, Haita RO's Cristi Măcriș tried to score from far away in the 58th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Teaşcă in the 61st minute of play forced Tipau's goalkeeper Ionică Plopan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucian Tase kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 66th match minute, Tipau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Costin Deșliu to maneuver through the defense. Tipau's Ionică Plopan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucian Tase in the 69th minute of play. Vlad Brănescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucian Mihai having to interfere. If Marius Ferenț had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ionică Plopan came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Haita RO's Lucian Tase. But to his dismay, Lucian Tase quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. Dorel Vârnav scored 7-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ionică Plopan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lucian Mihai made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marius Ferenț in the 84th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Dorel Vârnav managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haita RO's supporters rose to their feet, but Dorel Vârnav was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ionică Plopan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lucian Mihai made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Marius Ferenț sent off a good shot on target. Marius Ferenț could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Lucian Mihai made a huge save. When the referee ended the match the Haita RO players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
