Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Nechifor Pitiș started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Vali Anastasiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 6th minute, Cornel Apăvăloaie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the match, Fc.Targu-Mures's goalkeeper Filip Ciuvică had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vali Anastasiu. Paul Muja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Manole Merișor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Filip Ciuvică managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Ardan's Vali Anastasiu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 21 played minutes Fc.Targu-Mures got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Lipoveanu. When Emanuel Lipoveanu was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 22 minutes had been played. In the 22nd minute, Emanuel Lipoveanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fc.Targu-Mures's goalkeeper Filip Ciuvică, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Ardan's Ion Micescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Filip Ciuvică. That made the score 1-0 after 28 minutes of play. In the 33rd match minute, Ardan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Călin Receanu to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Ardan's Filip Ciuvică threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ion Micescu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 38 minutes, Nechifor Pitiș mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fc.Targu-Mures and the Ardan players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ardan booed when Fc.Targu-Mures was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nechifor Pitiș didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ion Micescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ion Micescu to strike the kick off in the second half. After 64 minutes of play, Ardan's Ion Micescu made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filip Ciuvică was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 68th minute, Ion Micescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ardan's Vali Anastasiu got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vali Anastasiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ion Micescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ion Micescu in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filip Ciuvică saved Fc.Targu-Mures from getting behind. Vali Anastasiu might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filip Ciuvică. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vali Anastasiu ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vali Anastasiu in the 96th minute of play forced Fc.Targu-Mures's goalkeeper Filip Ciuvică to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
