Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Fc.Targu-Mures's Nechifor Pitiș started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Nechifor Pitiș managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc.Targu-Mures's supporters rose to their feet, but Nechifor Pitiș was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mădălin Aluncai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filip Ciuvică took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silviu Alucusan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, C.D Vall D Alba's Mădălin Aluncai got control of the ball when Paul Muja tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emanuel Lipoveanu kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st match minute, Fc.Targu-Mures was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornel Apăvăloaie to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute of the match Marian Gherghescu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filip Ciuvică showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nechifor Pitiș struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Mădălin Aluncai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc.Targu-Mures. Filip Ciuvică took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iordache Coporan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Tudor Lăceanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filip Ciuvică made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iordache Coporan in the 31st minute of play. Fc.Targu-Mures's Filip Ciuvică played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silviu Alucusan in the 39th minute of play. Iordache Coporan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Ciuvică having to interfere. Filip Ciuvică made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manole Buculeasa in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iordache Coporan made a kick off. Nechifor Pitiș might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mădălin Aluncai. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nechifor Pitiș ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind C.D Vall D Alba's goalkeeper Mădălin Aluncai, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cornel Apăvăloaie took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mădălin Aluncai. Mădălin Aluncai dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 65th minute, C.D Vall D Alba's Iordache Coporan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Filip Ciuvică. Filip Ciuvică yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Iordache Coporan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Filip Ciuvică having to make a save. Silviu Alucusan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silviu Alucusan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filip Ciuvică read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. In the 87th minute, Nechifor Pitiș made a precise shot to the right of Mădălin Aluncai. C.D Vall D Alba's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the 93rd minute, Tudor Lăceanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mădălin Aluncai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul Muja, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
