With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Bogătean in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Virgil Brănet saved Coman1980 from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, David Bogătean managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gibesti UFC's supporters rose to their feet, but David Bogătean was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Virgil Brănet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Ilie Drăgan came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Gibesti UFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ilie Drăgan couldn't finish the play. David Bogătean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 11 minutes, Claudiu Aldulescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coman1980 and the Gibesti UFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Claudiu Aldulescu hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Gibesti UFC's Liviu Tonegaru couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 12th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Coman1980. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gibesti UFC's goalkeeper Rareș Liviu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Mircea Buteanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coman1980's supporters rose to their feet, but Mircea Buteanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rareș Liviu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 17 played minutes Gibesti UFC got a freekick which was hit by Mircea Gogea. Mircea Buteanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rareș Liviu having to interfere. Gibesti UFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Mircea Buteanu scored to the left of an out of position Rareș Liviu, making the score, 1-0. Sergiu Măcrinici received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Rareș Liviu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 32 minutes, Horea Arghiroiu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coman1980 and the Gibesti UFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd match minute, Coman1980 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horea Arghiroiu to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute Ilie Drăgan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgil Brănet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If David Bogătean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the match, Ilie Drăgan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Virgil Brănet. Coman1980's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ilie Drăgan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In a very dangerous position, a player in Coman1980 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Bogătean in the 49th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Virgil Brănet saved Coman1980 from getting behind. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Ilie Drăgan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Virgil Brănet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Coman1980's goal looked a bit too open when Ilie Drăgan came free, but Virgil Brănet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mircea Buteanu succeeded in the game's 60th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. In the 63rd match minute, Coman1980 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudiu Aldulescu to maneuver through the defense. David Bogătean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgil Brănet having to interfere. Virgil Brănet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilie Drăgan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rareș Liviu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mircea Buteanu in the 72nd minute of the match. If David Bogătean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Coman1980's Virgil Brănet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Coman1980 from getting a goal against them. David Bogătean blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Virgil Brănet having to make a save. Coman1980's Virgil Brănet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilie Drăgan in the 97th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
