The referee ignored Zaharesti AFC's protests and gave Grigore Braru a yellow card for diving instead. 28 minutes into the match, Zaharesti AFC's Victor Lamru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ronny Norberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 46th minute Victor Lamru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronny Norberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Victor Lamru came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Zaharesti AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Lamru couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Victor Lamru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zaharesti AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Lamru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronny Norberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Victor Lamru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. After 72 played minutes Radacinestii CSM got a freekick which was hit by Bob Gordon. After a defensive mix-up in Radacinestii CSM's zone, Victor Lamru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronny Norberg came out of the goal and Victor Lamru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Zaharesti AFC's Ioan Cantemir got a free kick in the 77th minute. After a rather tough play, Zaharesti AFC's Robert Onitiu got a free kick in the 79th minute. Ronny Norberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Victor Lamru kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
