Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Alexandru Vancea made the kick off which started today's match. Mihăiţă Neața made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Adam Pantilimon sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabi Balint in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Augustin Blejan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ilie Adrian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augustin Blejan came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Steaua București's Codrin Văcaru. But to his dismay, Codrin Văcaru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 16th minute, Gabi Balint got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 19th match minute, Patule AS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristinel Irod to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Patule AS getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Paul Mitulescu hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, Codrin Văcaru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Steaua București fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Gabi Balint kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Patule AS's Augustin Blejan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Codrin Văcaru in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Gabi Balint had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Augustin Blejan. Patule AS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gabi Balint was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. 43 minutes into the match, Steaua București's Gabi Balint sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Augustin Blejan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Codrin Văcaru took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Augustin Blejan. Augustin Blejan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gabi Balint was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute Adam Pantilimon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihăiţă Neața saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vali Craia kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Adam Pantilimon notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Steaua București's Mihăiţă Neața. Mihăiţă Neața was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alexandru Vancea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Adam Pantilimon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandru Vancea in the 71st minute of play forced Steaua București's goalkeeper Mihăiţă Neața to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sabin Cârneci's late challenge caught a Steaua București's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sabin Cârneci helped the player get up and apologised. After 74 played minutes Patule AS got a freekick which was hit by Sabin Cârneci. 77 minutes into the match, Gabi Balint dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Augustin Blejan, 1-6. If Gabi Balint had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot by Corneliu Jivulescu from long distance, 94 minutes into the match, got Augustin Blejan's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Corneliu Jivulescu charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Corneliu Jivulescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 96th minute, Corneliu Jivulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
