An unexpectedly hard shot by Olimpiu Jurăscu in the 15th minute of play forced Plotonita AS's goalkeeper Panait Bobeica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Victor Malcocea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Parvinesti AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Plotonita AS the free kick. In the 16th match minute, Parvinesti AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Malcocea to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Plotonita AS's Panait Bobeica got control of the ball when Edgar Antonescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olimpiu Jurăscu in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Panait Bobeica prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edgar Antonescu took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Panait Bobeica. Panait Bobeica dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Ţipirig in the 37th minute of play forced Plotonita AS's goalkeeper Panait Bobeica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Parvinesti AC's Horia Iorda slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Panait Bobeica. That made the score 2-2 after 38 minutes of play. Parvinesti AC's Horia Iorda got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 48th minute, Dumitru Ticulescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Parvinesti AC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Horia Iorda to make the kick off. Panait Bobeica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horia Iorda, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Horia Iorda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Parvinesti AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Horia Iorda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Panait Bobeica breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 59 minutes into the match, Plotonita AS's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Ţipirig came free, but Panait Bobeica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Mugurel Chesaru fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Parvinesti AC's protests and gave Mugurel Chesaru a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Parvinesti AC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Mugurel Chesaru hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Parvinesti AC defense, Niall Gibbs kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucrețiu Rizescu. The Parvinesti AC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucrețiu Rizescu should have stopped the shot. Panait Bobeica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olimpiu Jurăscu in the 68th minute of the match. Panait Bobeica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horia Iorda, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Lucrețiu Rizescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvaldo Linhares in the 72nd minute of play. In the 78th minute of the game Victor Malcocea made a throw-in which Alex Ţipirig played forward. 82 minutes into the game, Parvinesti AC's Olimpiu Jurăscu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Panait Bobeica made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-3. Panait Bobeica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olimpiu Jurăscu in the 86th minute of play. Parvinesti AC's Olimpiu Jurăscu got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Edvaldo Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the game, Parvinesti AC's Olimpiu Jurăscu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Panait Bobeica made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-3. Parvinesti AC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
