An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucian Vâtcu in the 21st minute of play forced FC Archiud's goalkeeper Eduard Răchită to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ioan Pandrea kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Börje Nässén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pompiliu Cărtărescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horaţiu Hrușcă having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Börje Nässén stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cosmin Buta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horaţiu Hrușcă having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gigi Trif during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Horaţiu Hrușcă came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Archiud's Börje Nässén. But to his dismay, Börje Nässén quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After 73 minutes of play, FC Archiud's Börje Nässén made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Horaţiu Hrușcă was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lucian Vâtcu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Eduard Răchită tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Börje Nässén came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the FC Archiud fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Börje Nässén couldn't finish the play. Horaţiu Hrușcă didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silviu Spirea went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Börje Nässén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Börje Nässén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Pompiliu Cărtărescu fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Archiud's protests and gave Pompiliu Cărtărescu a yellow card for diving instead. After 95 played minutes FC Archiud got a freekick which was hit by Pompiliu Cărtărescu. FC Archiud walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
