Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gustave Adrien made the kick off which started today's match. After 4 minutes of play, Monastirea AC's Gustave Adrien made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laurențiu Chioreanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gustave Adrien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Laurențiu Chioreanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th match minute, Santelena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolae Istrăteanu to maneuver through the defense. Laurențiu Chioreanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustave Adrien, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Laurențiu Chioreanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tom Baker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marc-Antoine Tardif received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Laurențiu Chioreanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivan Schiau hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Laurențiu Chioreanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tom Baker went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Laurențiu Chioreanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tom Baker, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. When Tom Baker came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Monastirea AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tom Baker couldn't finish the play. After the first half Monastirea AC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mihăiţă Marchiș made a kick off. Marc-Antoine Tardif struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Laurențiu Chioreanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monastirea AC. In the 64th minute, Manole Marincean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute of the match Luca Prezan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anton Bianu skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolae Istrăteanu in the 66th minute of play forced Monastirea AC's goalkeeper Anton Bianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolae Istrăteanu hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Tom Baker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Mihăiţă Marchiș notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Monastirea AC's Anton Bianu. Anton Bianu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Laurențiu Chioreanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustave Adrien, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Monastirea AC's Anton Bianu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niculae Casian in the 95th minute of play.
