When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicodim Măliță made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Manole Marincean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fagadau's Ilie Marchidan got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moise Isaicu got free with Anton Bianu in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 84 minutes into the match, Fagadau's goal looked a bit too open when Gustave Adrien came free, but Isac Beșleaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Basarab Tudose fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fagadau's protests and gave Basarab Tudose a yellow card for diving instead. Basarab Tudose kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Gustave Adrien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tom Baker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anton Bianu stood somewhat misplaced when Alin Antonescu came free in front of goal and shot 0-2 to the left of him in the 92 minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Fagadau had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
