Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Yuri Mendonça started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Yuri Mendonça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Cotofenii FC booed when Ghidut CSS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduard Bitanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute, Corneliu Agudin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Basarab Elian was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Amadeo Arnau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicu Dănciulescu having to interfere. Cotofenii FC's Basarab Elian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mădălin Jerca in the 18th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 24th minute by Mihnea Ştefulescu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 25 minutes into the game, Cotofenii FC's Amadeo Arnau nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicu Dănciulescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Yuri Mendonça could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Nicu Dănciulescu made a huge save. Gică Rădvan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicu Dănciulescu having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebiu Sima in the 32nd minute of play forced Cotofenii FC's goalkeeper Basarab Elian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Amadeo Arnau cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Nicu Dănciulescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cotofenii FC's Amadeo Arnau got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yuri Mendonça struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Nicu Dănciulescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cotofenii FC. With a little luck, Ghidut CSS's Nicu Dănciulescu got control of the ball when Amadeo Arnau tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amadeo Arnau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Nicu Dănciulescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mădălin Jerca made a kick off. Mihnea Ştefulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gică Rădvan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicu Dănciulescu having to interfere. In the 60th minute Yuri Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicu Dănciulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Amadeo Arnau had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicu Dănciulescu. Ghidut CSS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amadeo Arnau was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. When Cotofenii FC's Yuri Mendonça in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience was convinced that Yuri Mendonça's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicu Dănciulescu was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Eusebiu Sima took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Basarab Elian. Basarab Elian dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Nicu Dănciulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeo Arnau, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 90thth minute of the game Yuri Mendonça who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ghidut CSS's Nicu Dănciulescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Corneliu Agudin kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ghidut CSS's Eduard Bitanu got a free kick in the 91st minute. Cotofenii FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
