Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cătălin Balint started the match with the kick off. Ciochiuta's Ferdinand Cârstoiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Bologan in the 3rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celedonio Mannie in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ferdinand Cârstoiu saved Ciochiuta from getting behind. Ferdinand Cârstoiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celedonio Mannie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ciochiuta booed when Botez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavril Fundătoreanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Fabian Mareș managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Ciochiuta's Cătălin Balint fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Botez's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Aurel Pop 18 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Alex Barna charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Barna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 21 played minutes Ciochiuta got a freekick which was hit by Alex Barna. After 24 minutes, Celedonio Mannie made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ciochiuta's Ferdinand Cârstoiu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Alex Barna got his second yellow card in the match during the 27th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Botez booed when Ciochiuta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Barna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celedonio Mannie struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Ferdinand Cârstoiu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Botez. Ciochiuta's Ferdinand Cârstoiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Mannie in the 36th minute of play. Ferdinand Cârstoiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celedonio Mannie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabian Mareș made an important save on a dangerous shot by Codrin Tastaman in the 42nd minute. Ferdinand Cârstoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolae Jianu in the 43rd minute of play. Cătălin Balint kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celedonio Mannie to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match Toader Ispir sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ferdinand Cârstoiu skillfully saved the ball. With his leg Ferdinand Cârstoiu managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Botez's Celedonio Mannie fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 61 minutes into the game, Botez's Celedonio Mannie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ferdinand Cârstoiu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Fabian Mareș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurel Pop in the 64th minute of play. Fabian Mareș had in the 68thth minute some difficulties stopping Nae Chirtoacă's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Irinel Voinescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ferdinand Cârstoiu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Dacian Agudin charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dacian Agudin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Botez made a substitution. Olimpiu Ghioncu replaced Damian Postolache. Dacian Agudin kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Ferdinand Cârstoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Bologan in the 81st minute of play. Irinel Voinescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olimpiu Ghioncu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Bologan in the 89th minute of play forced Ciochiuta's goalkeeper Ferdinand Cârstoiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabian Mareș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurel Pop, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Irinel Voinescu's late challenge caught a Ciochiuta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Irinel Voinescu helped the player get up and apologised. Olimpiu Ghioncu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinand Cârstoiu having to interfere. Nicolae Jianu might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ferdinand Cârstoiu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicolae Jianu ran back to his position shaking his head. Nicolae Jianu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinand Cârstoiu having to interfere. When the match was over Botez could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ciochiuta throughout the match.
