Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Curtuiuseni's Eduard Turcescu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adrian Mîțu got free with Luca Niță in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vintilă Lupșoiu was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 6 minutes into the match. After 6 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Curtuiuseni! When the match had been going on for 8 minutes, Nagyzsam FC's Avram Damian got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Luca Niță. In the 11th minute, Matei Onete hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dinu Colin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marin Ghișe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Viorel Susara came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Curtuiuseni's Marin Ghișe. But to his dismay, Marin Ghișe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horaţiu Cioculescu in the 23rd minute of play forced Curtuiuseni's goalkeeper Luca Niță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th match minute, Curtuiuseni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Tomoiu to maneuver through the defense. Luca Niță was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Sandu Dijmărescu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sandu Dijmărescu really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Curtuiuseni's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Horaţiu Cioculescu 32 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-1. Gică Musceleanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Luca Niță tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Berbec hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Nagyzsam FC's Avram Damian slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luca Niță. That made the score 4-1 after 46 minutes of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gică Musceleanu made a kick off. Dinu Colin charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dinu Colin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dinu Colin kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. When Felix Alb fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nagyzsam FC's protests and gave Felix Alb a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th minute, one of Curtuiuseni:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Curtuiuseni. If Adrian Mîțu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luca Niță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Mîțu in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Mîțu in the 82nd minute of play forced Curtuiuseni's goalkeeper Luca Niță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dinu Colin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Viorel Susara didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dinu Colin went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-2 was the resulting score. Dinu Colin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Viorel Susara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Nagyzsam FC had played much better football throughout.
