After some careless play in the PROCLEAN WWTP defense, Aurelian Alexandru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ionică Ivașcu. The PROCLEAN WWTP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ionică Ivașcu should have stopped the shot. Bulgarul CSS's Dragoş Codrescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mugurel Zoreanu in the 8th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mugurel Zoreanu in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dragoş Codrescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ionică Ivașcu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ionuț Nandriș's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Eric Rainea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dragoş Codrescu having to interfere. If Mugurel Zoreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ionuț Nandriș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Ionică Ivașcu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Eric Rainea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dragoş Codrescu was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Rainea in the 21st minute of play forced Bulgarul CSS's goalkeeper Dragoş Codrescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dragoş Codrescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mugurel Zoreanu in the 22nd minute of the match. Eric Rainea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dragoş Codrescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mugurel Zoreanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After a rather tough play, Bulgarul CSS's Aurelian Alexandru got a free kick in the 37th minute. After 38 played minutes, PROCLEAN WWTP's Robert Zamfir shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dragoş Codrescu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in PROCLEAN WWTP reached it. Ionuț Nandriș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ionică Ivașcu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. PROCLEAN WWTP's Ionică Ivașcu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ionuț Nandriș in the 48th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

If Mugurel Zoreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nicodim Huștiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aurelian Alexandru struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Ionică Ivașcu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bulgarul CSS. Moise Fărcășan hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Ionică Ivașcu came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Bulgarul CSS's Nicodim Huștiu. But to his dismay, Nicodim Huștiu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Ionuț Nandriș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute, Ionuț Nandriș left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bulgarul CSS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Eric Rainea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ionică Ivașcu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ionuț Nandriș's shot from short distance in the 90th minute.
