Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Nedelea CS's Panait Arnăutu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute Panait Arnăutu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisc Orghidan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute, Nedelea CS's Sorin Toader dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. With an all-out effort, Nedelea CS's Francisc Orghidan threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Panait Arnăutu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Nedelea CS's Șerban Gheție played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ştefan Tender in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, SC Gataia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cătălin Pârvan to maneuver through the defense. Corneliu Atanasiu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Francisc Orghidan. SC Gataia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dan Barbăroșie kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Rareș Vlas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rd minute, Sorin Toader got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Șerban Gheție showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rareș Vlas, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After 29 played minutes SC Gataia got a freekick which was hit by Cristi Tufescu. SC Gataia's Francisc Orghidan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save SC Gataia from getting a goal against them. 32 minutes into the game, Ştefan Tender cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Șerban Gheție was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 35th minute Rareș Vlas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Șerban Gheție saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Nedelea CS's goal looked a bit too open when Ştefan Tender came free, but Șerban Gheție reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisc Orghidan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Codrin Ciolac in the 40th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, Horea Cretan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nedelea CS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Gataia the free kick. The audience was convinced that Ştefan Tender's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Șerban Gheție was relentless in the 45th minute of the game.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ştefan Tender stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, SC Gataia's goal looked a bit too open when Corneliu Atanasiu came free, but Francisc Orghidan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 58 played minutes Nedelea CS got a freekick which was hit by Dan Barbăroșie. Francisc Orghidan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martin Minteuan went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 66th minute Ştefan Tender shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Șerban Gheție saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute Martin Minteuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisc Orghidan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, SC Gataia's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Minteuan came free, but Francisc Orghidan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Gataia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Nedelea CS.
