Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ştefan Tender made the kick off which started today's match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ghiris CF's Marcel Vladimirescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Francisc Orghidan. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. In the 7th minute of the match Cristi Tufescu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Martin Stoleru skillfully saved the ball. Martin Stoleru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ştefan Tender's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Iacob Frântu kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Francisc Orghidan made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Florin Mischie sent off a good shot on target. Mihăiţă Murărașu made in the 15th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Alexandru Isopescu immediately put the ball in play. Martin Stoleru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ştefan Tender's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. SC Gataia's Francisc Orghidan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save SC Gataia from getting a goal against them. Alexandru Isopescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ghiris CF's Aurel Onciu got a free kick in the 24th minute. Martin Stoleru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ştefan Tender's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. The supporters of Ghiris CF booed when SC Gataia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cătălin Pârvan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute, Ghiris CF's Aurel Onciu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Francisc Orghidan. Francisc Orghidan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Martin Stoleru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ştefan Tender, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Florin Mischie took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Francisc Orghidan. Francisc Orghidan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. A collision led to Ghiris CF getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Costel Grozuță hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Marcel Vladimirescu made the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Lucrețiu Chirițescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, SC Gataia's goal looked a bit too open when Aurel Onciu came free, but Francisc Orghidan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Cristi Tufescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute Florin Mischie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisc Orghidan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SC Gataia's Francisc Orghidan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcel Vladimirescu in the 70th minute of play. Francisc Orghidan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcel Vladimirescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Martin Stoleru came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Gataia's Ştefan Tender. But to his dismay, Ştefan Tender quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. SC Gataia's Cătălin Pârvan shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 78th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Martin Stoleru but with some difficulty. 80 minutes into the match, Ghiris CF's goal looked a bit too open when Ştefan Tender came free, but Martin Stoleru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Marcel Vladimirescu put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Francisc Orghidan. If Ştefan Tender had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
