In the 4th minute, Olimpiu Butnaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Emanuel Iorda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ionuț Iureș hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Iustin Hoduț made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Nae Voinea sent off a good shot on target. If Gheorghe Horia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nae Voinea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iustin Hoduț having to interfere. Nae Voinea's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Iustin Hoduț skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Nae Voinea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Iustin Hoduț made a huge save. In the 24th minute, Leontin Zdrenghea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Calistrat Văleanu's late challenge caught a Dejani CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Calistrat Văleanu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cornea getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Calistrat Văleanu hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Panait Zdrăilă in the 28th minute of play forced Cornea's goalkeeper Iustin Hoduț to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iustin Hoduț was a little too slow when Nae Voinea got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 1-0. Nae Voinea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Iustin Hoduț made a huge save. In the 39th minute Panait Zdrăilă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iustin Hoduț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Dejani CF booed when Cornea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calistrat Văleanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emanuel Iorda was the one to do the kick off. Ştefan Nichita made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Gheorghe Horia sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Panait Zdrăilă in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iustin Hoduț saved Cornea from getting behind. 62 minutes into the match, Cornea's goal looked a bit too open when Panait Zdrăilă came free, but Iustin Hoduț reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panait Zdrăilă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Iustin Hoduț didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Dejani CF's Nae Voinea shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 73rd minute Panait Zdrăilă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iustin Hoduț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cornea's Iustin Hoduț played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panait Zdrăilă in the 76th minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Dejani CF's Nae Voinea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iustin Hoduț made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. When Gheorghe Horia came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Cornea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gheorghe Horia couldn't finish the play. Nae Voinea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th match minute, Cornea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leontin Zdrenghea to maneuver through the defense. Iustin Hoduț showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panait Zdrăilă in the 87th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Nae Voinea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dejani CF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Cornea's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
