The crowd rose to their feet as OTELUL GALATI's Eugen Marian slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Emanuel Avacariței. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. 18 minutes into the game, Vasile Codin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Emanuel Avacariței. Vasile Codin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugen Marian in the 21st minute of play forced Tufenii's goalkeeper Emanuel Avacariței to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd match minute, OTELUL GALATI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ionuț Ionete to maneuver through the defense. Ilie Răcănel charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ilie Răcănel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th match minute, OTELUL GALATI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilie Răcănel to maneuver through the defense. Vasile Codin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Emanuel Avacariței when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Tufenii getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Horea Nedelciu hit a great ball. Eugen Marian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Emanuel Avacariței tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vasile Codin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Tufenii's Horea Nedelciu got a free kick in the 50th minute. In the 54th minute, Gigel Macovescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 57 minutes, Luca Mischie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tufenii and the OTELUL GALATI players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tufenii! In the 64th minute, Vasile Codin made a precise shot to the right of Emanuel Avacariței. Tufenii's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gică Frâncu during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gică Frâncu hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Emanuel Avacariței made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vasile Codin in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugen Marian in the 74th minute of play forced Tufenii's goalkeeper Emanuel Avacariței to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the game, Dacian Tiberiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tufenii's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave OTELUL GALATI the free kick. Emanuel Avacariței took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vasile Codin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute Eugen Marian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Avacariței saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Vasile Codin notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Tufenii's Emanuel Avacariței. Emanuel Avacariței was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
