Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Constantin Mineață got the match started through his kick off. Constantin Mineață scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sergiu Romaşcanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mircea Chircu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the match, Ceaus's goal looked a bit too open when Constantin Mineață came free, but Sergiu Romaşcanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ceaus's zone, Mircea Chircu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergiu Romaşcanu came out of the goal and Mircea Chircu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eusebiu Tăbăcaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihăiţă Ruşdea in the 18th minute of the match. 1-1 became the score in the 19th minute when Mihăiţă Ruşdea elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The attack was good, but when Constantin Mineață in the 24th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Constantin Mineață had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute, Horia Aristide hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sergiu Romaşcanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mircea Chircu, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After 45 minutes, Constantin Mineață mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Novac CSM and the Ceaus players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 45 played minutes Novac CSM got a freekick which was hit by Constantin Mineață. With his leg Eusebiu Tăbăcaru managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Ceaus's Claudiu Zbârcea fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Eusebiu Tăbăcaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihăiţă Ruşdea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mihăiţă Ruşdea was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Novac CSM's zone, Mihăiţă Ruşdea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusebiu Tăbăcaru came out of the goal and Mihăiţă Ruşdea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 55th match minute, Novac CSM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mircea Vulpescu to maneuver through the defense. In the 59thth minute of the game Claudiu Zbârcea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Novac CSM's Eusebiu Tăbăcaru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Constantin Moromete charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Constantin Moromete the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 61 played minutes Novac CSM got a freekick which was hit by Constantin Moromete. 64 minutes into the match, Mihăiţă Ruşdea notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Novac CSM's Eusebiu Tăbăcaru. Eusebiu Tăbăcaru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Mihăiţă Ruşdea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ceaus's supporters rose to their feet, but Mihăiţă Ruşdea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eusebiu Tăbăcaru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Novac CSM defense, Claudiu Zbârcea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eusebiu Tăbăcaru. The Novac CSM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eusebiu Tăbăcaru should have stopped the shot. When Mircea Chircu came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Novac CSM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mircea Chircu couldn't finish the play. If Mircea Chircu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eusebiu Tăbăcaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudiu Zbârcea in the 92nd minute of the match. 99 minutes into the match, Mihăiţă Ruşdea notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Novac CSM's Eusebiu Tăbăcaru. Eusebiu Tăbăcaru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ceaus fans cheered their team off the field, for while Novac CSM had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
