Tiberiu Ungur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Pora having to interfere. Iustin Mureșan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Codrin Runcu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ortiteag's Iustin Mureșan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Codrin Runcu in the 38th minute of play. Robert Pora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sever Dragușin in the 40th minute of play. Iustin Mureșan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuel Neghină in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute Codrin Runcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iustin Mureșan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Codrin Runcu made the kick off in the second half. Ortiteag's Tiberiu Ungur got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Ingaresti CSS's Emanuel Neghină got a free kick in the 61st minute. After 62 played minutes, Ortiteag's Pavel Crăcană shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Robert Pora came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ortiteag reached it. In the 67th minute of the match Toader Măcrineanu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iustin Mureșan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tiberiu Ungur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Robert Pora tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robert Pora made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Tiberiu Ungur sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 73 minutes, Sever Dragușin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ortiteag's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sever Dragușin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Codrin Runcu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iustin Mureșan was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. After 80 minutes, Pavel Crăcană mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ortiteag and the Ingaresti CSS players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 80th minute of the game. If Tiberiu Ungur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robert Pora showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sever Dragușin in the 89th minute of the match. 97 minutes into the game, Laurențiu Dobrica was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ortiteag's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ingaresti CSS the free kick. In the 97th match minute, Ortiteag was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurențiu Dobrica to maneuver through the defense. Ortiteag's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
