After having played for 13 minutes, Costel Zgaroi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ingaresti CSS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Costel Zgaroi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Robert Pora was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ernest Medeleanu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ingaresti CSS's Dacian Frumușanu got a free kick in the 25th minute. Costin Mărculescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Pora having to interfere. When Costel Zgaroi came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Ingaresti CSS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Costel Zgaroi couldn't finish the play. When Costel Zgaroi got free in front of the goal in the 34th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Eliodor Mirciu was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 35th minute Dacian Frumușanu suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Matei Zbârlea fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Halos's protests and gave Matei Zbârlea a yellow card for diving instead. Matei Zbârlea kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Eliodor Mirciu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costel Zgaroi in the 44th minute of play. Eliodor Mirciu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Costel Zgaroi went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Costel Zgaroi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Costin Mărculescu hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. If Costel Zgaroi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Costel Zgaroi had several of the Halos's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 59 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Eliodor Mirciu as he didn't even see the shot coming. Robert Pora took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Șerban Bădescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Manole Dănălache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Șerban Bădescu in the 76th minute of play forced Ingaresti CSS's goalkeeper Robert Pora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Manole Dănălache fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Halos's protests and gave Manole Dănălache a yellow card for diving instead. Manole Dănălache kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 96th match minute, Halos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Zbora to maneuver through the defense. Eliodor Mirciu was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Toader Măcrineanu. The Halos fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ingaresti CSS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
