Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gavril Mărăscu kicked off to start the match. Aurel Peter's late challenge caught a Buzias's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aurel Peter helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Buzias booed when Filia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurel Peter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferdinand Niculescu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Constantin Hirean. Filia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Gavril Mărăscu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Filia's Constantin Hirean. Constantin Hirean was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Constantin Hirean stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gavril Mărăscu's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Buzias's Alexandru Ghelmegean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dumitru Casian in the 29th minute of play. Gigel Iuonaș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandru Ghelmegean having to interfere. After 33 played minutes Buzias got a freekick which was hit by Gelu Răuțchi. Mihail Chinezu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gigel Iuonaș to make the kick off. Constantin Hirean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 74 played minutes Filia got a freekick which was hit by Iosif Ghișerel. Gavril Mărăscu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantin Hirean having to interfere. Liviu Gherasescu struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Alexandru Ghelmegean didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Filia. In the 79th minute, Marcu Negru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute, Liviu Gherasescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 88 minutes, Rareș Gheondea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Filia and the Buzias players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rareș Gheondea hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. 90 minutes in the game Gelu Răuțchi after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Constantin Hirean. A very good opportunity. Mihail Chinezu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Constantin Hirean having to make a save. Buzias's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
