Suraia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bordea SC the free kick. A collision led to Suraia getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Matei Petruț hit a great ball. Costel Golumbean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11thth minute of the game Costel Golumbean who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Suraia's Adam Roşca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Moise Foltea struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Adam Roşca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bordea SC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leontin Zbârcea in the 16th minute of play forced Bordea SC's goalkeeper Cornel Hurdubețiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, Leontin Zbârcea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Suraia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 20 minutes in the game, Leontin Zbârcea fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Cornel Hurdubețiu having to interfere. Cornel Hurdubețiu made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Robert Vuia sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moise Foltea in the 23rd minute of play forced Suraia's goalkeeper Adam Roşca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 played minutes Suraia got a freekick which was hit by Sever Iovanovici. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Moise Foltea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bordea SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Moise Foltea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adam Roşca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Suraia's Robert Vuia got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leontin Zbârcea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute of the match, Costel Golumbean tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Adam Roşca saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Bordea SC booed when Suraia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Vaştag didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adam Roşca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costel Golumbean in the 57th minute of the match. Costel Golumbean received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Adam Roşca came out and tried to block the shot, but Costel Golumbean slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 58th minute. Robert Vuia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornel Hurdubețiu having to interfere. Ernest Bunoaică's late challenge caught a Suraia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernest Bunoaică helped the player get up and apologised. In the 67th minute, Ernest Bunoaică hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Leontin Zbârcea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bordea SC's Cornel Hurdubețiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leontin Zbârcea in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bordea SC's goalkeeper Cornel Hurdubețiu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A hard shot by Moise Traianescu from long distance, 77 minutes into the match, got Adam Roşca's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Moise Foltea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Adam Roşca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Suraia had won after a very even match.
