Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Costel Golumbean made the kick off which started today's match. In the 2nd minute Denis Pivniceru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornel Hurdubețiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilortu's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Silviu Rădvan in the 4th minute. Eugen Plopan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costel Golumbean in the 9th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Bordea SC's goal looked a bit too open when Răzvan Berechet came free, but Cornel Hurdubețiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Moise Foltea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Costel Golumbean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugen Plopan having to interfere. Denis Pivniceru took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cornel Hurdubețiu. Cornel Hurdubețiu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Moise Foltea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Costel Golumbean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugen Plopan having to interfere. After 36 played minutes Gilortu got a freekick which was hit by Mircea Radu. Costel Golumbean could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Eugen Plopan made a huge save. Eugen Plopan made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Moise Foltea sent off a good shot on target. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Denis Pivniceru was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mircea Radu during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 59th minute, Mircea Radu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the game, Bordea SC's Moise Foltea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eugen Plopan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The attack was good, but when Moise Foltea in the 66th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Răzvan Berechet might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cornel Hurdubețiu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Răzvan Berechet ran back to his position shaking his head. Răzvan Berechet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Bordea SC's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Pivniceru came free, but Cornel Hurdubețiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, Edgar Gordunescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bordea SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gilortu the free kick. The supporters of Gilortu booed when Bordea SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Gordunescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cornel Hurdubețiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Pivniceru in the 74th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Denis Pivniceru in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cornel Hurdubețiu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cornel Hurdubețiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Pivniceru in the 77th minute of the match. Răzvan Berechet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Cornel Hurdubețiu made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moise Foltea in the 80th minute of play forced Gilortu's goalkeeper Eugen Plopan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 90th minute, when Gilortu's Silviu Rădvan after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Cornel Hurdubețiu in Bordea SC's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. The supporters of Bordea SC booed when Gilortu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dragoş Iosub didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle went the supporters of Gilortu were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Bordea SC side.
