Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Constantin Gheorghiu took the kick off in the first half of the match. Teodor Pavel's late challenge caught a Motohani AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodor Pavel helped the player get up and apologised. After 12 played minutes Birzan CF got a freekick which was hit by Teodor Pavel. After recieving a nice pass, Motohani AC's Cosmin Zdroană tried to score from far away in the 13th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After having played for 18 minutes, Costică Ivan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Birzan CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Costică Ivan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Birzan CF's Manuel Isaia in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Motohani AC's goalie prevented a goal. With his leg Cristi Tripon managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Birzan CF's Costică Ivan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 22nd match minute, Motohani AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florin Rizea to maneuver through the defense. Cristi Tripon made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Costică Ivan sent off a good shot on target. Cristi Tripon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Isaia in the 26th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Nae Glodeanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dumitru Mușetescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After some careless play in the Motohani AC defense, Manuel Isaia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristi Tripon. The Motohani AC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristi Tripon should have stopped the shot. Cristi Tripon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Isaia, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Cristi Tripon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Isaia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Costică Ivan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Cristi Tripon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nae Glodeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manuel Isaia to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Motohani AC's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Isaia came free, but Cristi Tripon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nae Glodeanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Dumitru Mușetescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Manuel Isaia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Birzan CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Isaia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristi Tripon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 70thth minute of the game Manuel Isaia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Motohani AC's Cristi Tripon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nae Glodeanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Dumitru Mușetescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 73 played minutes Birzan CF got a freekick which was hit by Gigi Lucian. Motohani AC's Nae Glodeanu got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th match minute, Birzan CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Geolgău to maneuver through the defense. If Nae Glodeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Costică Ivan came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Birzan CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Costică Ivan couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute, Nae Glodeanu made a precise shot to the right of Dumitru Mușetescu. Birzan CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. The Motohani AC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Motohani AC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
