Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eusebiu Vermeşan started the match with the kick off. After 2 minutes, Cristi Dănciulescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Birzan CF and the Hinova players grew even worse after the yellow card. Costică Ivan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Dinu Huțanu made a huge save. Costel Bădila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Dumitru Mușetescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Costel Bădila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dumitru Mușetescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebiu Vermeşan, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. If Eusebiu Vermeşan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Isaia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinu Huțanu having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manuel Isaia to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Manuel Isaia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinu Huțanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Eusebiu Vermeşan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Birzan CF's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebiu Vermeşan came free, but Dumitru Mușetescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Costel Bădila received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal.
