Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Marius Nițulescu made the kick off and thus started the match. Vintilă Rusu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Ivan Achim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Octav Bitang managed to get in a good position for a shot. Voitinel's supporters rose to their feet, but Octav Bitang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paul Zgondea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 15 played minutes Voitinel got a freekick which was hit by Niculae Lamru. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Voitinel's goalkeeper Ivan Achim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Vanjulet defense, Octav Bitang kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paul Zgondea. The Vanjulet fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paul Zgondea should have stopped the shot. Ivan Achim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vintilă Rusu in the 40th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute Marius Nițulescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Zgondea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vintilă Rusu might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivan Achim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vintilă Rusu ran back to his position shaking his head. Vanjulet's Gigi Albeanu got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Voitinel fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 48th minute. Penalty! In the 51st minute of the match Vanjulet got a corner. Voitinel's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leonard Jucu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gigi Albeanu was the one to do the kick off. If Niculae Lamru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Octav Bitang ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paul Zgondea was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Gigi Albeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 75th minute, Vintilă Rusu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Niculae Lamru hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Paul Zgondea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octav Bitang in the 89th minute of the match. Gigi Albeanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Achim having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rareș Uncheşu during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 94 minutes into the match, Voitinel's goal looked a bit too open when Gigi Albeanu came free, but Ivan Achim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paul Zgondea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octav Bitang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Voitinel's Ivan Achim got control of the ball when Vintilă Rusu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Voitinel were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Vanjulet for a fine match.
