An unexpectedly hard shot by Dragoş Casian in the 9th minute of play forced Itcan's goalkeeper Basarab Velicu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Tiberiu Visarion sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Basarab Velicu threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Tiberiu Visarion this time. After having played for 14 minutes, Eduard Păstrăv managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aiud SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduard Păstrăv was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mugurel Alamaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mugurel Alamaru in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Liviu Chelbea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 21st minute, Filip Davidescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ionică Mustea during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, Aiud SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ionică Mustea to maneuver through the defense. Filip Davidescu struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Liviu Chelbea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itcan. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by Eduard Păstrăv got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Eduard Păstrăv fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basarab Velicu having to interfere. Liviu Chelbea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filip Davidescu's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Liviu Chelbea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Davidescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 41st minute Dragoş Casian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basarab Velicu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Itcan's Basarab Velicu got control of the ball when Eduard Păstrăv tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mugurel Alamaru was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Aiud SC's zone, Filip Davidescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Liviu Chelbea came out of the goal and Filip Davidescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eduard Păstrăv sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Basarab Velicu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dragoş Casian in the 65th minute of the match. With a little luck, Aiud SC's Liviu Chelbea got control of the ball when Filip Davidescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dragoş Casian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Liviu Chelbea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mugurel Alamaru in the 75th minute of the match. If Eduard Păstrăv had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nae Răduț charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nae Răduț the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Aiud SC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Nae Răduț hit a great ball. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Itcan's goalkeeper Basarab Velicu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ionică Mustea got his second yellow card in the match during the 86th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 87 played minutes Aiud SC got a freekick which was hit by Ionică Mustea. Filip Davidescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduard Păstrăv recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eduard Păstrăv fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basarab Velicu having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
