The crowd rose to their feet as Nae Hăvârneanu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Doru Ecobici. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. Andrei Ghionaru hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Nae Hăvârneanu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Doru Ecobici having to make a save. Doru Ecobici made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nae Hăvârneanu in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Mihnea Macaneață hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Doru Ecobici showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nae Hăvârneanu in the 16th minute of the match. A collision led to Hribeni getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Mihnea Macaneață hit a great ball. Nae Hăvârneanu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 27th minute. Sevinesti's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Leonard Bute charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonard Bute the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sevinesti getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Leonard Bute hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the match, Sevinesti's goal looked a bit too open when Nae Arvinte came free, but Petre Şimandan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hribeni's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Nae Hăvârneanu scored to the left of an out of position Doru Ecobici, making the score, 2-0. Doru Ecobici took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nae Hăvârneanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Constantin Lelescu kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Doru Ecobici showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nae Hăvârneanu in the 45th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Denis Negrescu hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Iustinian Iordan struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. In the 62nd minute, Nae Hăvârneanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Doru Ecobici made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nae Hăvârneanu in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th play minute Gabriel Todea came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Petre Şimandan. 3-1. If Nae Arvinte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nae Arvinte in the 72nd minute of play forced Sevinesti's goalkeeper Petre Şimandan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nae Hăvârneanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Doru Ecobici read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. When Gabriel Todea came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Hribeni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Todea couldn't finish the play.
