Cosmin Nenciu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After having played for 13 minutes, Narcis Spiridon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Andronache's supporters crossed their fingers, but Narcis Spiridon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Putinari UFC's goal looked a bit too open when Vali Constantiniu came free, but Cosmin Nenciu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Liviu Postelnicu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Ciprian Bratiloveanu made a huge save. Marin Mardarescu hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute Irinel Tomescu suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. In the 23rd match minute, Andronache was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marin Mardarescu to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, Andronache's goalkeeper Ciprian Bratiloveanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Liviu Postelnicu. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Liviu Postelnicu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Putinari UFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Liviu Postelnicu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciprian Bratiloveanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 32 minutes into the match, Andronache's goalkeeper Ciprian Bratiloveanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Liviu Postelnicu. In the 35th minute, Vali Constantiniu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Andronache fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a rather tough play, Putinari UFC's Costin Tase got a free kick in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When Liviu Postelnicu came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Putinari UFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Liviu Postelnicu couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Putinari UFC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Costin Tase hit a great ball. Cosmin Nenciu made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Vali Constantiniu sent off a good shot on target. Vali Constantiniu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosmin Nenciu having to interfere. Liviu Postelnicu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aristide Pantiș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciprian Bratiloveanu having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laurențiu Bărbânță got free with Cosmin Nenciu in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anton Sârban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Putinari UFC's Calistrat Jurca got a free kick in the 95th minute. Grigore Păun was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 96th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Andronache's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
