Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Marcel Zmărăndescu got the match started through his kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonard Milescu got free with Emanuel Constantinescu in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dorel Vlădean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stelian Stratulat having to interfere. Marcel Zmărăndescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonard Milescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Emanuel Constantinescu made a huge save. In the 18th minute, Sever Timofte fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Emanuel Constantinescu, passed just outside the right post. 20 minutes into the match, Branetul FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sever Timofte came free, but Emanuel Constantinescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Leonard Milescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Sever Timofte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Sever Timofte came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Temisani fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sever Timofte couldn't finish the play. After 28 played minutes Branetul FC got a freekick which was hit by Pavel Tuleiu. Stelian Stratulat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorel Vlădean in the 34th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Temisani's zone, Dorel Vlădean stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stelian Stratulat came out of the goal and Dorel Vlădean tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Sever Timofte came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Temisani fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sever Timofte couldn't finish the play. Emanuel Constantinescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Milescu in the 44th minute of the match. Emanuel Constantinescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sever Timofte, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Sever Timofte blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emanuel Constantinescu having to make a save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sever Timofte to make the kick off. If Leonard Milescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcel Zmărăndescu struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Stelian Stratulat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Branetul FC. In the 73rd match minute, Branetul FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavel Tuleiu to maneuver through the defense. Ion Agud took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emanuel Constantinescu. Branetul FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 75 played minutes Branetul FC got a freekick which was hit by Valeriu Pogea. Stelian Stratulat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dorel Vlădean in the 82nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Dorel Vlădean managed to get in a good position for a shot. Branetul FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dorel Vlădean was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stelian Stratulat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 87th minute, Marcel Zmărăndescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stelian Stratulat was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Stelian Stratulat was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Marcel Zmărăndescu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcel Zmărăndescu really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Branetul FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
