Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Zont's Gheorghe Tăbăcaru started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes of play, Zont's Francisc Mavrodin made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nistor Bogrea was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cheglevici's Nistor Bogrea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gheorghe Tăbăcaru in the 15th minute of play. Nistor Bogrea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gheorghe Tăbăcaru in the 17th minute of the match. Francisc Mavrodin in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nistor Bogrea, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 24thth minute of the game Gheorghe Tăbăcaru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cheglevici's Nistor Bogrea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gheorghe Tăbăcaru succeeded in the game's 26th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Nistor Bogrea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliodor Chițu, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 33rd minute, Zont's Gheorghe Tăbăcaru dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. If Francisc Mavrodin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute Augustin Petrean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iacob Târlea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iacob Târlea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iulian Şuţu in the 46th minute of play. In the 48th minute, Zont's Gheorghe Tăbăcaru ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nistor Bogrea. Nistor Bogrea yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Augustin Petrean made a kick off. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cheglevici's goalkeeper Nistor Bogrea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 58 minutes into the game, Nicodim Nae was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cheglevici's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zont the free kick. After a rather tough play, Cheglevici's Nicodim Nae got a free kick in the 58th minute. Gheorghe Tăbăcaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nistor Bogrea having to interfere. After having played for 66 minutes, Iulian Şuţu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cheglevici's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iulian Şuţu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Augustin Petrean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iulian Şuţu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iacob Târlea having to interfere. Augustin Petrean recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th minute, Augustin Petrean fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Iacob Târlea, passed just outside the right post. In the 88th minute, Iulian Şuţu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iacob Târlea was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Nistor Bogrea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gheorghe Tăbăcaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cheglevici's goalkeeper Nistor Bogrea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Cheglevici's Augustin Petrean in the 99th minute got a chance for a shot 99th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zont's goalie prevented a goal. Zont's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
