Adam Zamfir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Ene in the 3rd minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Doroscani's goal looked a bit too open when Nicodim Dima came free, but Adam Zamfir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Doroscani's Andrei Postelnicescu got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Gheorghe Stolnicu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tudor Manea was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Traian Isăcescu's late challenge caught a Doroscani's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Traian Isăcescu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Chiliu CS's Traian Isăcescu got a free kick in the 27th minute. The audience was convinced that Andrei Postelnicescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tudor Manea was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Adam Zamfir didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurel Petru went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 44th minute of the match Dacian Izbașa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tudor Manea skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrei Postelnicescu in the 47th minute of play forced Chiliu CS's goalkeeper Tudor Manea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adrian Ene to strike the kick off in the second half. Basarab Maruță hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Nicodim Dima kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Gheorghe Stolnicu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Doroscani's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Ene came free, but Adam Zamfir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gheorghe Stolnicu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Doroscani's Adam Zamfir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Ene in the 70th minute of play. Gheorghe Stolnicu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tudor Manea having to interfere. When Aurel Petru came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Chiliu CS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurel Petru couldn't finish the play. In the 77th match minute, Chiliu CS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Ene to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Chiliu CS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Andrei Postelnicescu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Doroscani's zone, Adrian Ene stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adam Zamfir came out of the goal and Adrian Ene tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sever Ponor hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Adam Zamfir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurel Petru in the 88th minute of the match. Tudor Manea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrei Postelnicescu in the 91st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Chiliu CS's zone, Gheorghe Stolnicu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tudor Manea came out of the goal and Gheorghe Stolnicu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tudor Manea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gheorghe Stolnicu, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
