Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Moroda AS's goalkeeper Mihnea Brânzeu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sabin Pistol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Mihnea Brânzeu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florin Ciorănescu hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Cazimir Reznic's late challenge caught a Higiu FCM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cazimir Reznic helped the player get up and apologised. Cazimir Reznic kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. The long shot by Marcu Magheru in the 16th minute really tested Mihnea Brânzeu's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 18thth minute of the game Sabin Pistol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Moroda AS's Mihnea Brânzeu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Sabin Pistol took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Mihnea Brânzeu to make any attempt to save it. Iustin Pandrea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 32 played minutes Higiu FCM got a freekick which was hit by Ştefan Bârlă. Ovidiu Borcea, 33 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Moroda AS's Mihnea Brânzeu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabin Pistol in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to Moroda AS getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Ion Hidiș hit a great ball. Grigore Manole showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iustin Pandrea, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Florin Ciorănescu struck a weak shot in the 49th minute. Mihnea Brânzeu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Higiu FCM. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Costel Şneapotă made a kick off. Sabin Pistol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihnea Brânzeu having to interfere. Iustin Pandrea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Grigore Manole tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Iustin Pandrea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Higiu FCM's Horea Barbosu got a free kick in the 70th minute. Ovidiu Borcea missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 72 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Grigore Manole right hand side. Mihnea Brânzeu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florin Ciorănescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Iulian Corocăescu charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iulian Corocăescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Higiu FCM getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Iulian Corocăescu hit a great ball. Grigore Manole stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Costel Şneapotă's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Moroda AS's goal looked a bit too open when Florin Ciorănescu came free, but Mihnea Brânzeu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 91 minutes into the game, one of Moroda AS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Moroda AS's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Higiu FCM had won, even though Moroda AS had held more of the ball.
