Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ulmeni's Sabin Rotariu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gheoca UFC's Vlad Luncașu got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ştefan Micu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 16th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Costel Vasilian. Iustinian Săvoiu kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th match minute, Ulmeni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristinel Nițoi to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute of the match Flavius Pătrășcanu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ştefan Micu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 19th minute, Stelian Aelenei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eric Aanuţei took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andrei Tarcu. Andrei Tarcu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Damian Chiliman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ştefan Micu having to interfere. Damian Chiliman might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ştefan Micu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Damian Chiliman ran back to his position shaking his head. Flavius Pătrășcanu hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Sabin Rotariu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrei Tarcu having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damian Chiliman in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ştefan Micu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eric Aanuţei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Gheoca UFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ulmeni were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Damian Chiliman made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Vlad Luncașu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gheoca UFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vlad Luncașu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Chiliman in the 55th minute of play forced Ulmeni's goalkeeper Ştefan Micu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Sabin Rotariu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Andrei Tarcu, 0-2. Eric Aanuţei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 66th minute Sabin Rotariu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrei Tarcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute of the match Olimpiu Soneriu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ştefan Micu skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Ulmeni booed when Gheoca UFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dragoş Brădea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andrei Tarcu was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Sabin Rotariu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sabin Rotariu really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Eric Aanuţei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ştefan Micu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Chiliman, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Vlad Luncașu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ştefan Micu having to interfere. If Eric Aanuţei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The long shot by Sabin Rotariu in the 94th minute really tested Andrei Tarcu's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Ulmeni's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
