Nae Bologa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionel Capșuneanu in the 24th minute of the match. The supporters of Agaua booed when Vasuiu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costică Popic didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucrețiu Ciurea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pompiliu Bernea went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 39th minute, Sergiu Simionescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucrețiu Ciurea was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Sergiu Simionescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Lucrețiu Ciurea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergiu Simionescu in the 96th minute of play. Laurențiu Gugulanu scored 2-4 in the 99th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nae Bologa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
