Ionuț Moise fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolae Văduva having to interfere. 6 minutes into the match, Cionchesti CSM's goal looked a bit too open when Petruț Constantiniu came free, but Ivan Mirciu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 8th minute by Ionuț Moise got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Șerban Milcoveanu succeeded in the game's 10th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Radu Şantău charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Radu Şantău the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Radu Şantău hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. When Petruț Constantiniu came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Ser FCM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petruț Constantiniu couldn't finish the play. In the 25th minute, Petruț Constantiniu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivan Mirciu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 30thth minute of the game Horia Cărtărescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cionchesti CSM's Ivan Mirciu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Cionchesti CSM getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Ferdinand Mardarescu hit a great ball. Ivan Mirciu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petruț Constantiniu in the 34th minute of play. Ivan Mirciu came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Ser FCM's Petruț Constantiniu. But to his dismay, Petruț Constantiniu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Horia Cărtărescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Mirciu having to interfere. Ser FCM's Radu Şantău got his second yellow card of the match in the 41st minute. The referee ordered Radu Şantău off the ground. A collision led to Ser FCM getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Radu Şantău hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute, Romeo Macamete sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ser FCM's Nicolae Văduva didn't even have to move.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Șerban Milcoveanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Șerban Milcoveanu took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicolae Văduva. Nicolae Văduva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ser FCM's goalkeeper Nicolae Văduva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Șerban Milcoveanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gică Homescu during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 63rd match minute, Ser FCM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gică Homescu to maneuver through the defense. Nicolae Văduva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionuț Moise in the 68th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Romeo Macamete during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 83rd minute Ionuț Moise shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolae Văduva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horia Cărtărescu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Ivan Mirciu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ionuț Moise sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ser FCM's Nicolae Văduva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Șerban Milcoveanu in the 89th minute of play. When Petruț Constantiniu fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ser FCM's protests and gave Petruț Constantiniu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th match minute, Ser FCM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petruț Constantiniu to maneuver through the defense. During the 93rd minute of the match Petruț Constantiniu completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Petruț Constantiniu a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 94 played minutes Ser FCM got a freekick which was hit by Petruț Constantiniu. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
