Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Creteni's Gică Achimescu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Petruț Constantiniu struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Isac Zbora didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ser FCM. The goalkeeper, Isac Zbora, was totally fooled by Ser FCM's Felix Irimescu, who 7 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When Flavius Mălaimare fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Creteni's protests and gave Flavius Mălaimare a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Creteni getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Flavius Mălaimare hit a great ball. Horia Cărtărescu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Isac Zbora when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Petruț Constantiniu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gică Achimescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Creteni's Remus Coidum got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Ser FCM getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Gheorghe Drăgan hit a great ball. Horia Cărtărescu hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute of the game, Aron Dijmărescu landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Radu Şantău kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. If Radu Şantău had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 44 minutes, Calistrat Bârsescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Creteni and the Ser FCM players grew even worse after the yellow card. Calistrat Bârsescu hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Petruț Constantiniu to make the kick off. Isac Zbora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horia Cărtărescu in the 53rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Remus Coidum managed to get in a good position for a shot. Creteni's supporters rose to their feet, but Remus Coidum was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolae Văduva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Creteni's Gică Achimescu got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 65 minutes into the match, Horia Cărtărescu notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Creteni's Isac Zbora. Isac Zbora was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Isac Zbora showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horia Cărtărescu in the 68th minute of the match. The supporters of Ser FCM booed when Creteni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calistrat Bârsescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Petruț Constantiniu scored 3-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isac Zbora, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Calistrat Bârsescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Nicolae Văduva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 81 played minutes Ser FCM got a freekick which was hit by Petruț Constantiniu. Remus Coidum recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Petruț Constantiniu might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isac Zbora. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Petruț Constantiniu ran back to his position shaking his head. Horia Cărtărescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isac Zbora stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Petruț Constantiniu's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Ser FCM's Nicolae Văduva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Ser FCM from getting a goal against them. Ser FCM's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
