Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Constantin Peptan got the match started through his kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Constantin Peptan in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicolae Văduva saved Ser FCM from getting behind. 11 minutes into the match, Petruț Constantiniu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sergiu Tatomir, 1-0. In the 18th match minute, Ser FCM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavel Amânaloae to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute, Marcel Stroescu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ser FCM's Nicolae Văduva didn't even have to move. Constantin Peptan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Nicolae Văduva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petruț Constantiniu in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sergiu Tatomir saved Vulpesti CF from getting behind. Vulpesti CF's Aurel Mardarescu got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 31 minutes into the game, Gică Homescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ser FCM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vulpesti CF the free kick. A collision led to Ser FCM getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Gică Homescu hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute Constantin Peptan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolae Văduva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Vulpesti CF's Aurel Mardarescu, in the 34th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Vulpesti CF. Ser FCM's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Felix Irimescu in the 39th minute. A nice corner shot did that Felix Irimescu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sergiu Tatomir quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petruț Constantiniu in the 41st minute of play forced Vulpesti CF's goalkeeper Sergiu Tatomir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Petruț Constantiniu to make the kick off. Sergiu Tatomir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petruț Constantiniu, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Aurel Mardarescu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 62nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Felix Irimescu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sergiu Tatomir. Vulpesti CF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Horia Cărtărescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergiu Tatomir having to interfere. Pavel Amânaloae struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Sergiu Tatomir didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ser FCM. After a defensive mix-up in Ser FCM's zone, Constantin Peptan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolae Văduva came out of the goal and Constantin Peptan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aurel Mardarescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ser FCM's Nicolae Văduva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantin Peptan in the 75th minute of play. After 76 minutes of play, Vulpesti CF's Constantin Peptan made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicolae Văduva was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pavel Amânaloae charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pavel Amânaloae the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Vulpesti CF booed when Ser FCM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pavel Amânaloae didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd match minute, Ser FCM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavel Amânaloae to maneuver through the defense. 93 minutes into the match, Vulpesti CF's goal looked a bit too open when Horia Cărtărescu came free, but Sergiu Tatomir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Horia Cărtărescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Despite being the better team, Vulpesti CF failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
