Tiberiu Bistreanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Horaţiu Coman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Torouţ sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Frumusica FC's zone, Edgar Mudura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Horaţiu Coman came out of the goal and Edgar Mudura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cornel Puric fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petre Encuțoiu having to interfere. If Cristian Torouţ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Cristian Torouţ got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Horaţiu Coman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Mudura in the 32nd minute of the match. Horaţiu Coman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Mudura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Poienita were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Frumusica FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nae Buga took the corner. Eliodor Jugănaru was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Frumusica FC's Horaţiu Coman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Mudura in the 41st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgar Mudura in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horaţiu Coman saved Frumusica FC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Cristian Torouţ managed to get in a good position for a shot. Frumusica FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Torouţ was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Petre Encuțoiu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

54 minutes into the match, Edgar Mudura dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Horaţiu Coman, 0-1. In the 65th minute, Poienita's Tiberiu Bistreanu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of Frumusica FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Poienita:s goal. Horaţiu Coman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tiberiu Bistreanu's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Edgar Mudura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the match, Poienita's Tiberiu Bistreanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Horaţiu Coman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Petre Encuțoiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Torouţ, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute, Mădălin Zdrăilă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute Cornel Puric shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petre Encuțoiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Torouţ fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petre Encuțoiu having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgar Mudura got free with Horaţiu Coman in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 86 minutes into the game, Anton Panin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Frumusica FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Poienita the free kick. After 86 played minutes Frumusica FC got a freekick which was hit by Anton Panin. If Tiberiu Bistreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiberiu Bistreanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horaţiu Coman having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Poienita had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
