Maxim Marinică recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adrian Cornea got free with David Dănciulescu in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the last second David Dănciulescu throw himself and got hold of the ball when Codrin Banciu in the 9thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Mugur Roşulescu kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Codrin Banciu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Dănciulescu was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. If Maxim Marinică had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Boronesti AC's Sabin Bărbătescu got a free kick in the 26th minute. When Augustin Cozorici fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boronesti AC's protests and gave Augustin Cozorici a yellow card for diving instead. Augustin Cozorici hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Mugur Roşulescu's late challenge caught a Boronesti AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mugur Roşulescu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Boronesti AC booed when Lisznyo UFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mugur Roşulescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st match minute, Boronesti AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Gavrilă to maneuver through the defense. Adrian Cornea succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 43rd playminute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Codrin Banciu was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Lisznyo UFC's Filip Dudea got control of the ball when Vali Stejaru tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 56th minute Boronesti AC were awarded a corner. Sabin Bărbătescu went to the cornerflag to take it. Boronesti AC's David Dănciulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Codrin Banciu in the 57th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Codrin Banciu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lisznyo UFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Codrin Banciu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Dănciulescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maxim Marinică during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th minute, Maxim Marinică hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Lisznyo UFC's Filip Dudea got control of the ball when Vali Stejaru tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adrian Cornea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Dănciulescu having to interfere. If Vali Stejaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Codrin Banciu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Dănciulescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Vali Stejaru struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Filip Dudea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boronesti AC. In the 83rd minute, Codrin Banciu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vali Stejaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Lisznyo UFC's zone, Augustin Cozorici stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filip Dudea came out of the goal and Augustin Cozorici tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 89 minutes, Vali Stejaru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boronesti AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vali Stejaru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lisznyo UFC's Filip Dudea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Lisznyo UFC from getting a goal against them. Daniel Boian kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match.
