Mugur Albuț received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Alex Chitila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nechifor Rareș recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 34 minutes, Florin Corcoveanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dolia AS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florin Corcoveanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emanuel Logofătu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cornel Copil during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Adrian Varga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 2-0 became the score in the 62nd minute when Emanuel Logofătu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, Dolia AS's Florin Corcoveanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alex Chitila narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Stretea getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Gavril Dordea hit a great ball. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dolia AS's goalkeeper Ionel Udurbac, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alex Chitila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Logofătu in the 82nd minute of play. Florin Corcoveanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dolia AS's Florin Corcoveanu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 85th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Stretea. When Adrian Varga came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Stretea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrian Varga couldn't finish the play. Adrian Varga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Ionel Udurbac tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emanuel Logofătu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
