Silviu Comșa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florin Corcoveanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The supporters of Dolia AS booed when Musenita CS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pavel Grama didn't get a good kick on the ball. Călin Ciorogaru struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Ionel Udurbac didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Musenita CS. In the 29th minute, Fabian Maghear made a precise shot to the right of Ionel Udurbac. Dolia AS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florin Corcoveanu in the 34th minute of play forced Musenita CS's goalkeeper Silviu Comșa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Musenita CS's zone, Emanuel Logofătu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silviu Comșa came out of the goal and Emanuel Logofătu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabian Maghear recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Dolia AS getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Leonard Morovan hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Maghear in the 45th minute of play forced Dolia AS's goalkeeper Ionel Udurbac to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 48 minutes into the game, Dolia AS's Emanuel Logofătu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silviu Comșa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emanuel Logofătu was the one to do the kick off. Florin Corcoveanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Silviu Comșa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd match minute, Dolia AS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristi Medeleanu to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, Dolia AS's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Zdrobău came free, but Ionel Udurbac reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silviu Comșa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Logofătu in the 68th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Mugur Albuț hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valentin Zdrobău shot a long shot in the 78th minute and a light blocked Ionel Udurbac hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 2-2. 81 minutes into the match, Musenita CS's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Logofătu came free, but Silviu Comșa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silviu Comșa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florin Corcoveanu in the 82nd minute. Calistrat Rânceanu charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Calistrat Rânceanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 93 played minutes Dolia AS got a freekick which was hit by Calistrat Rânceanu. If Emanuel Logofătu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
