Musenita CS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nechifor Rareș was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Călin Ciorogaru in the 17th minute of play forced Stretea's goalkeeper Alex Chitila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alex Chitila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Călin Ciorogaru in the 24th minute of the match. The supporters of Stretea booed when Musenita CS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Maghear didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adrian Varga in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silviu Comșa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Călin Ciorogaru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Musenita CS's supporters rose to their feet, but Călin Ciorogaru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alex Chitila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stretea's Alex Chitila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Maghear in the 37th minute of play. Adrian Varga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silviu Comșa having to interfere. Musenita CS's Călin Ciorogaru got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nechifor Rareș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Silviu Comșa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Nechifor Rareș ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silviu Comșa was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Călin Ciorogarus short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Alex Chitila to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 78th minute, Musenita CS's Fabian Maghear dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. In the 85th minute Adrian Varga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silviu Comșa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Musenita CS's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Varga came free, but Silviu Comșa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silviu Comșa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidiu Melinte, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 94th minute, Nechifor Rareș got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Musenita CS's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
