Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Toader Barbăroșie kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Banatka's goal looked a bit too open when Mugur Sângeorzan came free, but Nicu Loga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicu Loga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihnea Iureș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 12 minutes of play, Banatka's Ionuț Crăciunaș made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Petruț Slicaru was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nicu Loga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mugur Sângeorzan, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Calistrat Blaga kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. If Mugur Sângeorzan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicu Loga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihnea Iureș, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Petruț Slicaru made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Ionuț Crăciunaș sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Banatka's Petruț Slicaru threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Toader Barbăroșie, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Banatka's Toader Barbăroșie got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mihnea Iureș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 43 minutes of play, Folia's Mugur Sângeorzan made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicu Loga was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Mihnea Iureș made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Banatka's Toader Barbăroșie sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Petruț Slicaru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 56 minutes into the match, Banatka's goal looked a bit too open when Mihnea Iureș came free, but Nicu Loga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mugur Sângeorzan got free with Nicu Loga in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mircea Enășoiu hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. When Mihnea Iureș came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Folia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mihnea Iureș couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Folia booed when Banatka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergiu Barbu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Folia's Mihnea Iureș got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 68 minutes, Toader Barbăroșie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Banatka and the Folia players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Banatka getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Toader Barbăroșie hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 74th minute by Mihnea Iureș got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ion Greavu during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 76th minute, one of Banatka:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Banatka. After 82 minutes, Bogdan Izvoranu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Folia and the Banatka players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 82 played minutes Folia got a freekick which was hit by Bogdan Izvoranu. Ionuț Crăciunaș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Petruț Slicaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ionuț Crăciunaș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 89 minutes, Toader Barbăroșie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Banatka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Toader Barbăroșie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
