Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Heltiul CF's Daniel Bucur started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Heltiul CF's zone, Liviu Macri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Calistrat Fințescu came out of the goal and Liviu Macri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Liviu Macri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augustin Bântu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Calistrat Fințescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Cerghizel booed when Heltiul CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Bucur didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 14 minutes, Liviu Macri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cerghizel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Liviu Macri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Liviu Macri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Calistrat Fințescu having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liviu Macri in the 17th minute of play forced Heltiul CF's goalkeeper Calistrat Fințescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augustin Bântu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Cerghizel's Augustin Bântu in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Heltiul CF's goalie prevented a goal. In the 24th minute, Daniel Bucur fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The Cerghizel fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Cerghizel's Liviu Macri looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lucrețiu Marghescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Bucur in the 34th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Bucur in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucrețiu Marghescu saved Cerghizel from getting behind. The supporters of Cerghizel booed when Heltiul CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gigi Panciu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 41 minutes Heltiul CF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marcu Zbârlea who took care of the corner kick. Cerghizel's Marcu Zbârlea was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Calistrat Fințescu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.

Calistrat Fințescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augustin Bântu in the 52nd minute of the match. Liviu Macris short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Calistrat Fințescu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cerghizel's Lucrețiu Marghescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Bucur in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cerghizel's goalkeeper Lucrețiu Marghescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Daniel Bucur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Heltiul CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Bucur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucrețiu Marghescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Liviu Macri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calistrat Fințescu having to interfere. In the 64th minute, David Dordea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Claudiu Iftode managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calistrat Fințescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augustin Bântu in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Calistrat Fințescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 72nd minute Daniel Bucur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucrețiu Marghescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Heltiul CF were furious when Aristide Crivac was red carded, 77 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 76th minute, one of Heltiul CF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Heltiul CF. In the 79th minute there was a penalty for Cerghizel. Marcu Zbârlea stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Calistrat Fințescu. 0-2. In the 83rd minute, Paul Basarab made a precise shot to the right of Lucrețiu Marghescu. Cerghizel's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Lucrețiu Marghescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul Basarab, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Heltiul CF's Iurie Barbăsură got a free kick in the 98th minute. Augustin Bântu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Calistrat Fințescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 100th minute of play. When the match was over Cerghizel could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Heltiul CF throughout the match.
